New Senior Member
The following is a series of tasks that ALL new seniors must complete after becoming a member of Civil Air Patrol and before participating in any activities. All tasks required to complete Level I of the CAP Professional Development Program are listed below.

Complete Initial Steps
Complete each of the following items listed in New Cadets
- Register in eServices
- Complete OPSEC Training
Complete Level I Orientation
Level I Orientation is required training for ALL Senior Members. This training consists of several topics covered over 3 blocks. This training includes review of online materials, as well as mentor led discussions. This is the first step in the CAP Professional Development Program for Seniors and helps new Senior Members become familiar with Civil Air Patrol.
Level I Orientation can be accessed from eServices from the Learning Management System link form the main menu.
Submit to the Unit Commander for Level I Completion
Once Level I Orientation is complete, your mentor, Professional Development Officer, or other designated authority will submit your completion in eServices for commander approval.
Congratulations!!!
Once your Level I is approved, eServices will credit you with the successful completion of Level I of the CAP professional development program which qualifies you to wear the Membership Ribbon!
